A Kenyan Odyssey to the Mombasa Coast (private)

Day 1 Nairobi                              
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.                              

Day 2 Nairobi to Masai Mara NR        
This morning drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Later head out on your first game drive.                              

Day 3 Masai Mara NR              
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives exploring the stunning Masai Mara, which offers exceptional game viewing and beautiful scenery. It’s possible to add a spectacular hot air balloon safari to this day to spot wildlife from the air.    

Day 4 Masai Mara NR to Lake Naivasha              
Drive to the shores of picturesque Lake Naivasha, the highest of the Rift Valley lakes. After lunch enjoy a boat ride on the lake.    

Day 5 Lake Naivasha to Amboseli NP                  
Today you will drive south, passing first through the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, then onto Amboseli. Later look out for herds of elephants, wallowing hippos and a host of birdlife on an afternoon game drive. If you are lucky you may see the top of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, which towers over the park.                              

Day 6 Amboseli NP to Tsavo West NP    
Continue to Tsavo West National Park, passing the spectacular Shetani lava flows and the volcanic Chyulu Hills. Explore the diverse landscapes of Tsavo, including a stop at the Mzima Springs, a collection of crystal clear lakes home to crocodiles and hippos.      

Day 7 Tsavo West NP to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary            
Drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. After lunch you can view wildlife from the lodge’s hide or terrace bar before your afternoon game drive.      

Day 8 Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Mombasa          
After breakfast drive south to your hotel on the Mombasa coast.
