A Kenyan Odyssey to the Mombasa Coast (small group)

Day 1  Fly to Nairobi

Day 2  Nairobi                  
Welcome to Kenya. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3  Nairobi to Masai Mara NR        
This morning drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Later, head out on your first game drive.

Day 4  Masai Mara NR              
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives exploring the stunning Masai Mara, which offers exceptional game viewing and beautiful scenery. It’s possible to add a spectacular hot air balloon safari to spot wildlife from the air.

Day 5  Masai Mara NR to Lake Naivasha        
Drive to the shores of Lake Naivasha, the highest of the Rift Valley lakes. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride to spot local wildlife.

Day 6  Lake Naivasha to Amboseli NP        
Today drive south, passing first through the Great Rift Valley then on to Nairobi to arrive in Amboseli in time for a late lunch. In the afternoon head out on a game drive. If you are lucky, you may see the top of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, Africa's highest peak.

Day 7  Amboseli NP to Tsavo West NP      
After breakfast, depart to Tsavo West National Park, passing the impressive Shetani Lava Flow and volcanic Chyulu Hills. Following lunch, explore the diverse landscapes of Tsavo on an afternoon game drive, including a stop at the Mzima Springs, a collection of crystal clear lakes home to crocodiles and hippos.

Day 8  Tsavo West NP to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary              
his morning, enjoy a game drive en route to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. After lunch, head out on a game drive, before spending the evening unwinding whilst viewing game from the lodge’s terrace.

Days 9-12  Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Mombasa      
After an early breakfast, continue south to the beautiful white sand beaches on the Mombasa coast. Spend the next few days relaxing in the sun or enjoying watersports on the turquoise waves.

Days 13-14  Fly home
