Kenya Classic with Mombasa

Day 1  Fly to Nairobi

Day 2  Nairobi  
Welcome to Nairobi! On arrival, transfer to your hotel. If you have an early arrival, we recommend booking an additional experience. Perhaps visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or follow in the footsteps of Karen Blixen on an Out of Africa Experience.

Day 3  Nairobi to Masai Mara NR  
Travel through the tea and coffee plantations of Kenya’s highlands to the lip of the Great Rift Valley. Descending the escarpment, you will reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Day 4  Masai Mara NR  
Enjoy a morning game drive around the Masai Mara – classic safari country with wide open grasslands dotted with acacia trees. After lunch, set off on an afternoon game drive and later visit a Masai village to learn about the local culture.

Day 5  Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP  
Drive across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya to the shores of spectacular Lake Nakuru. Spend the afternoon spotting animals and birdlife on a game drive in the surrounding national park.

Day 6  Lake Nakuru NP to Amboseli NP
Today is a long day as you journey south. Stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and then, after lunch in Nairobi or a picnic lunch en route, continue to scenic Amboseli National Park.

Day 7  Amboseli NP  
Depart for a full day of game drives, returning to the lodge for lunch before heading out for more wildlife spotting in the afternoon.

Day 8  Amboseli NP to Mombasa
Drive back to Nairobi for your flight to Mombasa. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort.

Days 9-11  Mombasa
Make the most of your time unwinding on the stunning white sand beaches and swimming in the warm, turquoise waters. Perhaps spend a day strolling through the cobbled streets of the old town and visiting Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 16th Century.

Days 12-13  Fly home
