Samburu & Masai Mara Explorer

Day 1  Nairobi                                                          
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.                                                          

Day 2  Nairobi to Samburu NR                
Take a scenic flight from the domestic airport into the wild and remote Samburu National Reserve. Transfer to your lodge with game viewing en route. After a leisurely lunch embark on an afternoon                                                          
game drive, returning to camp as the sun sets.  

Day 3  Samburu NR                    
Spend today exploring diverse landscapes, from thick forest to arid desert on morning and afternoon game drives. Big cats, elephants and buffalo can all be spotted along with endemic species such as Grevy’s zebra and the Reticulated giraffe.                                                          

Day 4  Samburu NR to Masai Mara NR                    
Transfer to the airstrip for your flight into the magnificent Masai Mara. Transfer to your lodge for lunch and later head out on an afternoon of game viewing in search of the Big 5.  

Day 5  Masai Mara NR              
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. A hot air balloon flight can be added to this day.    

Day 6  Masai Mara NR to Nairobi        
After breakfast fly back to Nairobi for your onward flight. It’s also possible to take a direct flight from the Mara to Mombasa or Malindi – please ask your consultant for details.
