Through the Rift Valley (small group)

Day 1  Nairobi          
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.            

Day 2  Nairobi to Masai Mara NR        
Depart Nairobi and travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and down the Rift Valley Escarpment Road. You will reach your lodge in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. This afternoon enjoy a game drive, returning to your lodge as the sun begins to set.            

Day 3  Masai Mara NR          
Set out after an early breakfast for your morning game drive across the open grasslands of the Masai Mara. Head back for lunch and time to relax before an afternoon game drive. There will also be time to visit a traditional Masai village before returning to the lodge to freshen up for dinner. Why not add a hot air balloon flight to view the reserve from above?          

Day 4  Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP        
Leave the Masai Mara and pass through the vast plains of the Great Rift Valley, driving over the Mau Escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park. Spot wildlife as you travel through the park on the way to your lodge. After lunch head out on a game drive to try to spot the Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino and the abundant birdlife that call the park home. If you are lucky, you may spot flamingos on the shores of the lake.          

Day 5  Lake Nakuru NP to Nairobi          
Today, head to Lake Naivasha. The highest of the Rift Valley lakes, Naivasha is surrounded by forests of acacia trees and home to a variety of wildlife. Enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the lake before continuing on to Nairobi for your onward travel arrangements.
