Itinerary
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel, and head out to explore this captivating city.
Days 2-3 Marrakech
Spend your first full day visiting the highlights of Marrakech on a city tour which includes the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace. Finish the day at Djemaa el Fna Square, a fascinating area bustling with snake charmers, fortune tellers and a host of authentic food stalls. Choose to explore more of the city by visiting the tranquil gardens of Jardin Majorelle or discover the beautiful architecture of Ben Youssef Madrasa, a former Islamic school adorned in marble and mosaic.
Day 4 Marrakech to High Atlas Mountains
Enjoy a scenic ride through the High Atlas Mountains as you transfer to your tranquil accommodation located in the foothills of the mountains.
Day 5 High Atlas Mountains
Rise early for a gentle morning hike to explore the stunning mountain scenery. Your expert guide will bring your surroundings to life – from the history of the region to the flora and fauna on the mountains. Stop off at a local Berber home for traditional Moroccan mint tea before spending the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Day 6 High Atlas Mountains to Essaouira
Transfer to the pretty coastal town of Essaouira where you will reside for the next three nights.
Days 7-8 Essaouira
Enjoy a fascinating tour of Essaouira. Famed for its atmospheric port and fortified medina, you’ll be instantly immersed in a world of culture. With a private guide, visit the historic harbour before weaving your way through the colourful lanes exploring spice souks and art galleries. Spend the rest of your time relaxing on the beach, learning to surf, or strolling through the old Portuguese ramparts and the town’s many wonderful boutique shops and charming eateries.
Day 9 Essaouira to Marrakech
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer back to Marrakech airport.
