Itinerary
Day 1 Marrakech
Fly to Marrakech and transfer to your hotel upon arrival.
Day 2 Marrakech
Marrakech is a wonderful blend of exotic, historic and chic. Explore a colourful souk, El Badi Palace ruins, grand Bahia Palace, and the gorgeous Koutoubia Mosque with a private guide. After, meet the locals at charming Djemaa el-Fna Square.
Day 3 Marrakech
Enjoy a day at leisure, meandering through the souks and perhaps trying some local delicacies.
Day 4 Marrakech to Rabat
Journey by train to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Marvel at the iconic religious landmark of Hassan Tower, wander through the historic Kasbah of the Oudaias and enjoy a stroll through the pretty Royal Palace’s park.
Day 5 Rabat to Fez
Hop back on the train to Fez, the finest medieval city of the Arab world and home to the oldest medina in the country. Venture through the warren of alleys through the medina, explore the old city and visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa, a 14th Century school for Islamic studies, and the charming Fondouk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th Century inn. This evening, perhaps try one of the country’s most celebrated dishes, a traditional pastilla dinner in a local restaurant.
Day 6 Fez
Today, enjoy a tour to the medieval city of Meknes. Explore the holy city of Moulay Idriss and discover the remains of the World Heritage Site of Volubilis, home to colourful Roman mosaics.
Day 7 Fez to Tangier
This morning, board a train to the coastal town of Tangier and make your way to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring this multicultural town.
Day 8 Chefchaouen
Today, discover the charm of Chefchaouen on your included tour. Wander through the town’s enchanting, blue-washed streets, and explore its historic kasbah and the Ras el-Maa spring.
Day 9 Tangier to Casablanca
Head to the station to board the train to the bustling city of Casablanca and make your way to your hotel. Take a stroll around the city, taking in all the intricate Islamic architecture.
Day 10 Casablanca
Immerse yourself in the daily lives of the locals as you walk through the buzzing medina, take in the views of the Atlantic Ocean, and marvel at the stunning architecture that blends French and Moroccan influences.
Day 11 Fly home
