Day 1  Fly to Cape Town

Day 2  Cape Town
Arrive into Cape Town this morning and transfer to your hotel. Your apartment is located in Camps Bay, the perfect base from which to explore this vibrant city. Perhaps take a short stroll down the hill to soak up the sea views and enjoy one of Camps Bay’s legendary sunsets from one of the upmarket bars lining the promenade.

Day 3  Explore Cape Town            
Today, explore the highlights of this diverse city with a knowledgeable guide. Be whisked up to Table Mountain’s summit by cable car to enjoy incredible panoramic views, wander the pretty Company’s Garden, visit the fascinating South African Museum, Castle of Good Hope and discover the picturesque Bo-Kaap neighbourhood with its iconic brightly coloured houses. A truly memorable day!  

Day 4  Day at leisure    
With a full day at leisure, spend the morning exploring the vibrant V&A Waterfront, the oldest working harbour in the Southern Hemisphere, boasting a plethora of shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, head to central Bree Street to sample the artisan ‘foodie’ scene the city is so renowned for. Tantalise your taste buds at authentic tapas bars, craft beer joints and boutique coffee shops, before discovering the lively nightlife of nearby Tamboerskloof and Long Street.

Day 5  Robben Island & Walk to Freedom            
No visit to Cape Town is complete without a visit to the former prison home of Nelson Mandela, Robben Island. Immerse yourself in the infamous history of the country’s apartheid era on a poignant tour, where former prisoners share their harrowing but often uplifting experiences.

Days 6-7  Fly Home            
Spend your last few hours in this fabulous city revisiting your favourite sights and neighbourhoods, before picking up your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
