Day 1  Fly to Cape Town, South Africa

Days 2-4  Cape Town
Arrive into Cape Town and transfer to your hotel. The sight of iconic Table Mountain welcomes you to this wonderfully lively city! Ascend the mountain by cable car (fee payable locally) for stunning views of the metropolis below, hit the beach in stylish Camps Bay and stroll around the V&A Waterfront, home to many fabulous shops, bars and restaurants.

Day 5  Cape Town to Kruger NP
Fly to Hoedspruit and spend four unforgettable days on safari in this outstanding national park.

Days 6-8  Kruger NP
Home to the Big 5 and a dazzling array of wildlife, enjoy thrilling morning and afternoon game drives guided by expert rangers and immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes, from open savannahs to dense bushveld.

Day 9  Kruger NP to Johannesburg
Fly to Johannesburg and transfer to your hotel which boasts an enviable Sandton location, just a short distance from Nelson Mandela Square.

Days 10-12  Rovos Rail
An incredible few days lie ahead, as you transfer to Pretoria and board Rovos Rail this morning. Sit back, relax and enjoy lunch as you leave the city behind and travel north through Warmbaths, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. Spend your days relaxing in your suite or taking in the sweeping views from the observation car whilst mingling with other guests and enjoying your favourite tipple. Dining is a sophisticated affair with silver service and guests are expected to dress for the occasion. All meals and drinks (except champagne) are included. Continue through the wilds of Zimbabwe before the train journeys alongside one of Africa’s longest stretches of straight track, arriving at Hwange National Park and alighting from the train for a thrilling game drive.

Day 13  Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe    
After a final night on board the splendid Rovos Rail, enjoy breakfast before the journey comes to an end at spectacular Victoria Falls. Disembark the train and make your way to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour to see ‘the smoke that thunders’ up close.

Days 14-15  Victoria Falls
Enjoy a day trip to Chobe National Park the following day, a thrilling journey into the heart of Botswana’s wildlife wonderland. The following day, enjoy your time at leisure and stroll the charming town of Victoria Falls. Perhaps opt to take a scenic helicopter flight over the falls, or celebrate your final night of the holiday with a feast at the Boma Dinner and Drum Experience.

Days 16-17  Fly home
Transfer to the airport after breakfast for your flight home.
