Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Cape Town, South Africa
Days 2-5 Cape Town
Welcome to Cape Town, not only a colourful metropolis, but also home to plentiful natural splendour with its picturesque beaches and the iconic silhouette of Table Mountain thats looms over the city. An included tour to Cape Point will help you further discover its beauty, including a visit to see the charming penguins on Boulders Beach.
Days 6-7 Cape Town to Franschhoek
Take your private transfer into the heart of the Cape Winelands through the lush mountain ranges then past rolling vineyards and colonial Cape Dutch homesteads before arriving at your hotel in Franschhoek. Enjoy a leisurely hop between beautiful wine estates sampling fine wines paired with breathtaking scenery on the Franschhoek Wine Tram.
Days 8-10 Franschhoek to Abelana GR
Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to your safari lodge in the Abelana Game Reserve, in time for your first open-top game drive in the afternoon. Mornings begin with a safari walk giving nature lovers an opportunity to have close encounters with the fauna and flora that inhabit this exquisite part of the reserve. These are followed by exhilarating afternoon game drives in search of the Big 5.
Days 11-12 Abelana GR to Hazyview
Transfer onwards to the scenic setting of Hazyview. The small farming town is surrounded by lush green vegetation and is the perfect base for exploring the region’s wild attractions, including Blyde River Canyon. Drive the Panorama Route and visit God’s Window viewpoint, known for its breathtaking vistas.
Days 13-16 Hazyview to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Fly to Victoria Falls for the final stop on this epic adventure. The awe-inspiring natural spectacle is a true bucket list destination, and you will be making the most of the impressive sight with an included helicopter flight and sunrise cruise. Furthermore, take advantage of the amazing location with a game drive to the incredible Chobe National Park including a scenic river cruise.
