Zazu Family Safari

Day 1 Arusha            
Upon arrival transfer to your charming lodge in Arusha.            

Day 2 Arusha to Lake Manyara        
Drive across the plains to the town of Mto wa Mbu where a guide will take you on a walking tour to learn about local life. After a Tanzanian lunch in town your safari adventure begins with a game drive in pretty Lake Manyara National Park.  

Day 3 Lake Manyara to Karatu      
Head into the highlands around Karatu to visit charming Gibb’s Farm. Experience farm life on a guided walk around the property, perhaps try your hand at milking a cow or feeding the pigs. After a delicious lunch from the farmhouse buffet continue to your lodge nearby where the afternoon is at leisure. Alternatively ask your travel consultant about staying at Gibb’s Farm.            

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater            
Enjoy a fantastic day of wildlife viewing in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater where your knowledgeable guide will help bring to life some of the secrets of the animal kingdom before returning to your lodge.    

Day 5 Karatu to Serengeti NP        
Set off for the Serengeti, stopping to get a glimpse of Masai culture at a village along the way. Stop for a packed lunch then enter the park with game viewing en route to your camp. Staying at a tented camp in the middle of the Serengeti is an exciting experience – you might see wildlife around the camp or hear lions roar at night!  

Day 6 Serengeti NP    
Explore the Serengeti at your own pace with morning and afternoon game drives around this incredible national park.  

Day 7 Serengeti NP to Arusha    
Transfer to the airstrip for a flight back to Arusha. If you’d like to have some fun in the sun after your safari we can also arrange a flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar.
