Days 1-2  Fly to Sydney  

Days 3-5  Sydney  
Enjoy the vibrant gastronomic and vivid cultural scene to be found in Sydney’s many varying neighbourhoods.    

Day 6  Sydney to Bowen Mountain    
Pick up your car and wind through the mountains to the subtle but spectacular 5★ Spicers Sangoma Retreat where you will be welcomed with a glass from their well-stocked bar. Lunch and dinner today can be enjoyed at the retreat’s hatted (Michelin-starred) restaurant.    

Day 7  Bowen Mountain    
Relax to panoramic views or take a day trip to the remarkable Blue Mountains where more stunning scenery awaits. Ensure you are back in time for dinner at the retreat for another sumptuous feast.  

Day 8  Bowen Mountain to Hunter Valley    
Take the scenic route through the native bush to arrive in the famous Hunter Valley wine region. Visit one of the local cellar doors before watching the sunset over kangaroos hopping amongst the vines.    

Day 9  Hunter Valley    
Spend a day sampling the innumerable wineries and varietals available in the valley or take your pick from the endless gourmet dining and vineyard picnics available at your 5★ Spicers Guesthouse.    

Day 10  Hunter Valley to Port Macquarie    
Drive out to Port Macquarie on the coast, opt for an afternoon whale watching cruise and check out the town’s celebrated seafood restaurants.    

Day 11  Port Macquarie to Cabarita Beach    
Head up the coast with a stop at Look At Me Now Headland to spot kangaroos on the shoreline. Settle into your beachside retreat and perhaps sample dinner at the hotel’s hatted restaurant.  

Day 12  Cabarita Beach    
Visit the bustling villages of the nearby Tweed Valley with a variety of art galleries, distilleries, and farm shops to peruse as well as views of striking Wollumbin/Mount Warning.    

Day 13  Cabarita Beach to Scenic Rim    
Drive back up into the mountains to Scenic Rim to experience the understated luxury of 5★ Spicers Peak Lodge where more gourmet dining and the best of local wine waits you.    

Day 14  Scenic Rim    
Take a day trip out to the area’s famous national parks to hike through ancient rainforest, admire the mountains from scenic viewpoints or spot koalas and other native wildlife from your beautiful lodge.  

Day 15  Scenic Rim to Sunshine Coast Hinterland    
Stay enveloped in the mountains with a drive north, stopping at local bakeries and scenic views over Lake Somerset. Arrive at 5★ Spicers Tamarind Retreat and perhaps unwind with a relaxing spa treatment.  

Day 16  Sunshine Coast Hinterland    
Spend a day out amongst the unique landscape of the Glass House Mountains with plenty of walks and drives to choose from. Back at your retreat, relax in your room and let the nature come to you or opt for a cooking class with the resident chefs.  

Days 17-18  Fly home    
Head to Brisbane and drop off your car before your flight home.
