Days 1-2  Fly to Cairns  

Day 3  Cairns to Palm Cove  
Popular with locals, charming Palm Cove is just 20 minutes north of Cairns and your home for the next four nights. Boasting a picture-perfect esplanade, swaying palms and award-winning oceanfront restaurants, it’s perfect for those seeking an intimate beach resort, close to all the attractions.  

Days 4-6  Palm Cove  
Enjoy an adventurous high-speed cruise to the Great Barrier Reef to discover spectacular coral formations and colourful marine life. On your final day, venture to the Atherton Tablelands for a fascinating Rainforest Wildlife Tour in search of tree kangaroos, possums, flying foxes and platypus.  

Day 7  Palm Cove to Noosa Heads
Transfer to Cairns this morning and fly to Brisbane. Pick up your car and drive 90 minutes north to Noosa Heads.  

Days 8-10  Noosa Heads  
The ’shire’ of Noosa is a collection of tropical village settlements including the sophisticated Noosa Heads, at the mouth of the Noosa River. Consistently voted as one of Australia’s most desirable places to live, it boasts an incredible swimming beach, thriving cafés, alfresco restaurants and great shopping. During your time here, enjoy kayaking in search of dolphins, join a 4WD tour to explore the incredible Great Beach Drive and cruise the sheltered waterways of the nearby everglades.  

Day 11  Noosa Heads to Byron Bay  
Drive south today, hugging the coast for the 3½ hour journey to quirky Byron Bay.  

Days 12-14  Byron Bay  
Home to Australia’s most easterly point, Byron features a mood of spirituality and alternative lifestyles, inspired by the surfers who flocked here in the 1960s. With dazzling beaches and gorgeous coves, spend a few days exploring the artisan coffee shops, bohemian boutiques and healing spas which line its pedestrian-friendly streets.  

Day 15  Byron Bay to Bondi Beach
Drive 30 minutes to Ballina airport and drop off your car. Fly south to energetic Sydney and transfer to nearby Bondi.  

Days 16-18  Bondi Beach  
Australia’s most famous beach, Bondi has recently emerged as one of Sydney’s most exciting culinary hubs. From bottomless brunches at trendy streetside cafés to a flourishing bar and restaurant scene, it’s a fantastic spot for people-watching. Bondi’s protected waters are a great place to surf, so for your final Aussie experience, join a friendly surfing lesson on the iconic beach. On one of your free days, stroll along the spectacular Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, where panoramic clifftop views offer you glimpses of azure rock pools, the stunning beaches of Bronte and Tamarama and the famous open air ’Icebergs’ swimming pool.  

Days 19-20  Transfer to Sydney and fly home
