Itinerary

Day 1  Fly to Adelaide    

Days 2-3  Adelaide  
Start your adventure in Adelaide, South Australia’s capital famous for its thriving arts and foodie scene.      

Day 4  Adelaide to Victor Harbor
Pick up your car and head to Victor Harbor, driving through villages and vineyards dotted across the Fleurieu Peninsula.      

Day 5  Victor Harbor to Robe    
Travel along the Limestone Coast, known as Southern Ocean Drive and get glimpse of Alexandrina Lake where the Murray River meets the sea.      

Day 6  Robe to Mount Gambier      
Today, drive east to Naracoorte, a World Heritage Site renowned for its limestone fossil caves. Early afternoon, explore the serene atmosphere of Bool Lagoon or sample some of the world’s best Cabernet wine in Coonawarra Valley.      

Day 7  Mount Gambier to Warrnambool      
This morning, take the time to discover Mount Gambier, this city is set amid a unique and ancient landscape of breathtaking volcanic craters, blue lakes, caves, sinkholes and underground waterways. Early afternoon, continue your journey to Warrnambool.      

Day 8  Warrnambool to Apollo Bay
Rise early and begin your journey along the magnificent Great Ocean Road, spotting the stunning Twelve Apostles sandstone rock formation, a staple in the landscape.      

Day 9  Apollo Bay to Mornington Peninsula      
Take the coastal route to Queenscliff to board your ferry crossing to Mornington Peninsula. Perhaps spend some time relaxing at the Peninsula Hot Springs located near your hotel.  

Day 10  Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne    
This morning, explore the rugged beaches of Mornington Peninsula which boasts a scenic coastline before heading onto Melbourne and dropping off your car.  

Days 11-12  Melbourne      
Today, take the opportunity to discover the city’s laneways and arcades as you soak up the buzzing café culture.  

Days 13-14  Melbourne to Hobart      
Catch a flight to Hobart, Tasmania. This city has a captivating history and offers a great base to explore historic Port Arthur, the rugged Tasman Peninsula and Bruny Island.    

Day 15  Hobart to Strahan      
It is time to collect your motorhome before you head to the frontier town of Strahan.      

Days 16-17  Strahan to Cradle Mountain    
Marvel at the diverse scenery of Cradle Mountain’s alpine plateau and spend time exploring the ancient rainforests and Lake St Clair National Park.      

Day 18  Cradle Mountain to George Town    
Continue north to George Town. Visit the Warrawee Forest Reserve for the chance to spot platypus and follow the Tamar Valley Wine Route to explore the variety of rolling vineyards, orchards and olive groves.    

Day 19  George Town to St Helens      
Travel to the east coast via Launceston to explore the Bay of Fires, named for its iconic orange-hued boulders and famed for its white sandy beaches.  

Days 20-21  St Helens to Freycinet NP      
Venture along the Great Eastern Drive to Freycinet National Park and embark on a scenic cruise of Wineglass Bay.    

Days 22-23  Fly home      
Return to Hobart to drop off your motorhome before your flight home.
