Kimberley Coastal Expedition

Day 1  Fly to Perth  

Day 2  Perth  
Upon arrival in Perth, transfer to your hotel and check in.  

Day 3  Perth to Broome  
Transfer to Perth airport and fly to Broome. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.  

Day 4  Cruise embarkation in Broome  
Transfer to the Port of Broome, board the Seabourn Pursuit^®, an ultra luxury, all suite, expedition ship, and set sail for Adele Island.  

Day 5  Adele Island & Buccaneer Archipelago  
Cruise to Adele Island for an exploration of this remote coastal area by zodiac.  The island is surrounded by Adele Reef, teeming with an array of coral and marine life, including reef sharks and stingrays.  

Day 6  Talbot Bay & Horizontal Falls  
Head to Talbot Bay, home to Horizontal Falls.Take an exhilarating ride between the cliffs aboard a high-powered fast boat (subject to tidal conditions) and weave through dramatic rock formations and creeks.  

Day 7  Freshwater Cove & Montgomery Reef  
Take a guided hike to visit an ancient rock art site at Freshwater Cove and watch Montgomery Reef ‘rise’ out of the sea as the tide ebbs. Discover the reef’s abundant marine life including turtles, manta rays and reef sharks.  

Day 8  Prince Frederick Harbour, Hunter River & Mitchell Falls  
Arrive at Prince Frederick Harbour and explore the Hunter River and Porosus Creek by Zodiac boat, followed by an optional helicopter flight to the four-tiered Mitchell Falls.  

Day 9  Ashmore Reef Marine Park
After a morning at leisure, visit Ashmore Reef Marine Park. In addition to the abundance of birdlife, beneath the clear tropical waters, the coral reefs are home to a colourful array of marine life.  Day 10 Vansittart Bay & Jar Island    Walk across salt flats to the wreckage of a US Air Force C-53 plane which crashed here during World War II. Learn about Jar Island’s impressive rock art, thought to be up to 20,000 years old.  

Day 11  Koolama Bay & King George River  
Experience the power of the magnificent King George Falls by Zodiac boat, the largest single drop waterfall in Western Australia.  

Day 12  Relaxing at sea  

Day 13  Cruise disembarkation  
Disembark and transfer to your hotel in Darwin.  

Day 14  Darwin  
Spend the day in Litchfield National Park, home to cascading waterfalls, monsoon forests and towering termite mounds.  

Days 15-16  Fly home
