Itinerary

Day 1  Fly to Perth    

Days 2-3  Perth  
Arrive in Perth and make your way to your hotel. Explore this laidback city at your own pace and perhaps visit Kings Park to take in panoramic views of the city. The following day, visit the nearby historic port of Fremantle or relax on one of the city’s gorgeous beaches.      

Day 4  Rottnest Island      
This morning, board the ferry and travel to Rottnest Island, home to an abundance of smiley quokkas, for a self guided day tour. Enjoy a thrilling 90 minute highpowered boat ride around the island, or hire a bicycle to explore the island’s trails before returning to Perth.      

Day 5  Perth to Margaret River      
Collect your car and journey south to the award-winning Margaret River wine region.      

Days 6-7  Margaret River  
Spend two full days exploring the remarkable coastline and rolling vineyards of this diverse region. The next day, enjoy   a small group tour taking in the region’s stunning scenery. Observe marine life through a live underwater video, before sampling local gourmet produce.      

Day 8  Margaret River to Perth      
Return to Perth at your own pace and enjoy a final day exploring the sights.  

Days 9-13  Indian Pacific      
Climb aboard the Indian Pacific and settle into your Gold cabin for the four night journey to Sydney. Travel through the picturesque Avon Valley before arriving in the gold rush town of Kalgoorlie.  Then continue on to Cook, a once thriving township, now ghost town, for post dinner drinks and star gazing. Journey on to Adelaide for a signature dining experience in the Barossa Valley at Seppeltsfield Estate. The Indian Pacific continues on to Broken Hill and then the Blue Mountains for one last experience before arriving into Sydney mid-afternoon.      

Days 14-16  Sydney      
Visit the iconic architectural wonder of the Sydney Opera House, an absolute must when visiting Sydney. Enjoy dinner on board a luxurious vessel with stunning views over Sydney Harbour.      

Days 17-18  Fly home
