Alaska by Land & Sea

Days 1-2  Vancouver, Canada  
Fly to Vancouver and spend time exploring this cosmopolitan city. Visit pretty Stanley Park or sit back and soak up the atmosphere harbour side.

Days 3-5  Vancouver to Ketchikan, USA  
Board the Nieuw Amsterdam ship in Vancouver before cruising the stunning fjords and bays of the Inside Passage, docking for a day in the delightful waterfront village of Ketchikan.

Day 6  Juneau  
Alaska’s small but picturesque capital is renowned for its fresh seafood, but the real highlight of a visit here is tracking down some wildlife, ranging from bald eagles to whales.

Day 7  Skagway  
Surrounded by magnificent natural beauty, this well-preserved frontier town is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Alaska’s fascinating gold rush history.

Day 8  Hubbard Glacier Scenic Cruising  
Gaze in awe at the 76 mile-long Hubbard Glacier as giant icebergs calve into the water.

Day 9  College Fjord Scenic Cruising  
Head to College Fjord, considered one of the most scenic fjords in the world.

Day 10  Disembark in Whittier and transfer to Denali NP  
Board the McKinley Explorer train to Denali and take in impressive panoramas from the comfort of a glass-domed carriage.

Days 11-12  Denali NP  
Enjoy all this park has to offer alongside views of Denali, North America’s highest peak.

Day 13  Denali NP to Anchorage  
Journey by coach to Anchorage for a night.

Days 14-15  Fly home
