Itinerary

Days 1-2  Vancouver  
Fly into Vancouver, a sophisticated city nestled between the sparkling Pacific Ocean and the snow-capped Coast Mountains. Stroll down lively Robson Street or perhaps enjoy a bike ride through Stanley Park.    

Day 3  Vancouver to Victoria    
Pick up your car at the airport and take a ferry from Tsawwassen for a scenic trip through the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island.    

Day 4  Victoria    
Enjoy this pretty city, rich in maritime history and colonial charm. Whale watching cruises are a popular activity from Victoria’s Inner Harbour.    

Day 5  Victoria to Whistler    
Return to the mainland by ferry from Nanaimo and take the scenic Sea to Sky Highway to the world-famous alpine resort of Whistler.    

Days 6-7  Whistler  
There is a huge variety of activities to choose from during the summer months in Whistler including bear viewing, hiking and biking.    

Day 8  Whistler to Sun Peaks    
Leave Whistler behind and travel through the gold rush towns of Lillooet and Cache Creek to the mountain town of Sun Peaks.  

Day 9  Sun Peaks    
Sun Peaks is a small and charming mountain resort with a friendly community. There are excellent golf courses, scenic hiking trails and a carpet of wildflower blooms if visiting in the height of summer.    

Day 10  Sun Peaks to Jasper    
Drive through rolling ranch country to the majestic Canadian Rockies. If you have time upon arrival, soak up the sunset at Pyramid Lake.  

Day 11  Jasper    
Explore Jasper National Park and enjoy a wealth of fantastic outdoor activities including hiking, rafting and fishing.    

Day 12  Jasper to Banff    
The spectacular Icefields Parkway passes thundering waterfalls, turquoise lakes and magnificent glaciers. To catch a glimpse of the Athabasca Glacier be sure to stop at the impressive Columbia Icefield Skywalk and the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of snow and ice south of the Arctic Circle. Both experiences are included in your Ultimate Rockies Explorer ticket.    

Day 13  Banff    
Take the gondola up Sulphur Mountain for incredible views and enjoy a cruise on Lake Minnewanka, included in your Ultimate Rockies Explorer Ticket.

Day 14  Banff to Kelowna    
Drive to Kelowna through the Okanagan Valley, home to countless orchards and wineries.  

Day 15  Kelowna    
Situated on the shores of Lake Okanagan, Kelowna is a good base from which to explore the surrounding wineries and for some lakeside fun.

Days 16-17  Fly home    
Make the drive back to Vancouver in time for your evening flight.
