Carnival Cities & Winter Wilderness

Days 1-2  Ottawa    
Fly into Canada’s glittering capital city which for three weeks in February, is host to one of North America’s greatest winter festivals – Winterlude. Admire the remarkable snow sculptures then rent some skates and glide on the Rideau Canal.  

Days 3-4  Montebello    
Pick up your car and after an hour drive arrive in the quaint town of Montebello and take to the frozen lake for some ice skating or race across the snow on a sleigh ride.  

Days 5-7  Tremblant    
Drive through the snow white countryside to the mountain resort of Tremblant. Whizz over the snowy countryside by helicopter, go snowshoeing or hit the slopes skiing.  

Days 8-10  Saint-Alexis-des-Monts
Drive on to Saint-Alexis-des-Monts where a plethora of optional activities awaits such as dogsledding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing on the surrounding forest trails. Later, curl up by the fire or soak and relax in the outdoor steaming hot pools.  

Days 11-12  Québec City  
Leave the wilderness behind and drive north to historic Québec City, a fairytale scene of charming cobblestone streets and snow-covered gabled roofs. The following day whizz down the mountain on snow slides and toboggan runs on a trip to Valcatier, just outside the city. Perhaps time your stay with the annual Winter Carnival in February.  

Days 13-14  Montréal    
Drive to the vibrant city of Montréal which embraces winter with a multitude of events and festivals and boasts a fantastic shopping and restaurant scene.  

Days 15-16  Fly home
