Montreal City Break

Day 1  Arrival                
Arrive into Montréal and head to your hotel. Tonight, soak up the vibrant nightlife and search out one of the many Jazz cafés and bars.                

Day 2  Old Montréal Guided Tour        
Montréal has flourished from a collision of French and British influences, creating a unique Canadian city. Orientate yourself today with a guided city tour allowing your knowledgeable, local guide to bring Old Montréal’s history and architecture alive. Visit Place Jacques-Cartier, Bonsecours Market and Place d’Armes.                

Day 3  Museums & Retail Therapy              
Explore downtown and visit one of the prestigious museums, either the beautiful Musée des Beaux Arts or the Musée d’Art Contemporain that offers a fascinating collection of modern art. Later, head to the shopper’s delight of Rue St Catherine that bursts with an array of shops and boutiques, and enjoy an early evening visit to Aura, a spectacular light show at the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica. This evening, indulge in al fresco dining and make sure you try Montréal’s famously delicious poutine: french fries, gravy and cheese curd.                

Day 4  Downtown Highlights              
Today explore the city at your own pace, perhaps enjoying one of numerous festivals that fill the year. Visit a roof top bar, or head to Au Sommet Place Ville Marie with its 360 degree observation deck for fantastic city views. When you’re ready to relax, head to the walking trails in Mount Royal Park, or simply unwind in one of the city’s many spas such as the fantastic floating Bota Bota Spa.            

Day 5  Departure      
Enjoy one final morning in the city, then head back to the airport.
