Day 1 Vancouver
Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner at Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.
Day 2 Vancouver
Tour the evergreen oasis of Stanley Park, followed by Granville Island, the heart of Vancouver’s cultural scene.
Days 3-4 Vancouver to Banff
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and relax in your luxurious GoldLeaf carriage. The train winds its way through stunning scenery en route to picturesque Banff with an overnight stop in Kamloops.
Day 5 Banff
Select your Freedom of Choice Touring activity. Later, enjoy your Freedom of Choice Dining with a barbecue at Stanley’s Smokehouse or Italian at Castello Ristorante.
Day 6 Banff to Lake Louise
Meet a Mountie and hear tales of the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Afterwards, travel via the stunning alpine scenery of Moraine Lake to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, overlooking the impossibly blue waters of Lake Louise.
Day 7 Lake Louise to Jasper
Travel the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic drives and ride an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier.
Day 8 Jasper to Sun Peaks
Follow the Yellowhead Highway via the imposing Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, to the popular alpine resort of Sun Peaks.
Day 9 Sun Peaks to Whistler
Travel through the rugged Cariboo region, home to dry grasslands, interior rainforests and diverse wildlife, before arriving in the famous ski resort of Whistler.
Days 10-11 Whistler to Victoria
Book an optional seaplane across the Georgia Strait to Victoria, or travel along the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway and take a scenic ferry ride to Vancouver Island. On day 11 enjoy breakfast at The Butchart Gardens and admire the floral displays. The rest of your day is free to explore at leisure.
Day 12 Victoria to Vancouver – Holland America Line Cruise
After breakfast, take the ferry back to Vancouver and transfer to the airport for your flight home. Or take an optional cruise extension aboard a Holland America Line ship for your Alaska cruise in comfort of a Vista Suite.
Days 13-18 Alaska Cruising
Cruise past rocky headlands and glide over the icy waters of the Inside Passage. Enjoy stops in Juneau, Skagway, spectacular Glacier Bay and the colourful village of Ketchikan before sailing back to Vancouver.
Day 19 Vancouver
Disembark in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
