Day 1  Fly to Beijing    

Days 2-3  Beijing  
Upon arrival,transfer to your hotel in vibrant Beijing, a city sure to stimulate all your senses. Explore the main highlights including Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.        

Day 4  The Great Wall    
Travel out to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and walk along this incredible ancient structure. Later, on your return to Beijing, visit the impressive Summer Palace.    

Day 5  Beijing to Xian        
Depart Beijing and travel the scenic journey to Xian by high speed bullet train.  

Day 6  Xian        
The world famous Terracotta Warriors are an unforgettable sight. A full day of sightseeing includes a visit to this magnificent army, as well as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian’s Muslim Quarter.        

Day 7  Xian to Chengdu        
Board a bullet train to Chengdu, home to the famously spicy Sichuan cuisine.

Day 8  Chengdu        
Head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and spend some time observing these adorable animals. Later visit the 17th Century Marquis Wu Temple and stroll along historic Jinli Street, lined with beautifully restored buildings.        

Day 9  Chengdu to Guilin        
Today is yours to explore however you wish. Perhaps discover the museums and shops of Chengdu, or unwind in a cosy tea house before your flight to Guilin.  

Day 10  Yangshuo      
Take a cruise along the Li River and sail past breathtaking mountain scenery.  Stop at Yangshuo, a bustling town full of cafés and craft shops before returning to Guilin by road.    

Day 11  Guilin to Shanghai        
Transfer to Guilin airport for your flight to Shanghai.      

Days 12-13  Shanghai        
Discover the main attractions in this impressive city. Stroll through the picturesque Yuyuan Gardens and visit the Jade Buddha Temple and lively old town. Take a walking tour of the picturesque former French Concession area with its cobbled streets and traditional Shikumen townhouses. Enjoy some free time for some final exploring or to pick up a souvenir or two.        

Days 14-15  Fly home
