Itinerary
Days 1-3 Lijiang
Transfer to your hotel on arrival. The next morning, take a cable car up the breathtaking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, then visit Yuhu Village with its traditional buildings. The following day, see the Black Dragon Pool within the beautiful Jade Spring Park and walk to Wangulou Pagoda.
Day 4 Lijiang to Benzilan
Travel to Benzilan, stopping at the remarkably deep Tiger Leaping Gorge en route.
Days 5-6 Benzilan
Visit the atmospheric Dongzhulin Monastery and hike to the scenic Shusong Nunnery. The following morning, trek to a hilltop Tibetan Village.
Days 7-8 Benzilan to Lijiang
Discover the spectacular region of Shangri-La, visiting the Songzanlin Monastery on the journey back to Lijiang. The next day, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
