Itinerary
Days 1-6
Explore Tokyo, a crazy neon lit city where hotels have roaring dinosaurs on the roof! Let off steam in one of the lovely parks and meet ASIMO, a cute robot who has danced with a US President. Spend a day at Disneyland before heading to the hills where you’ll dress in kimonos and sleep in a room with paper walls. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the snow monkeys who wallow in the hot springs here.
Days 7-15
Eat gold leaf ice cream in Kanazawa and visit Kyoto’s ninja castle (keep your eyes peeled for geishas too). Kayak across to Miyajima to feed the tame deer. Spend your last night buying Hello Kitty souvenirs and enjoying lip-smacking soul food in Osaka. Octopus balls are a speciality!
