Simply South Korea

Day 1  Seoul                            
Arrive into Seoul, South Korea’s lively capital city.

Day 2  Seoul                
A private guide will introduce you to this vibrant metropolis. Travel by public transport to see the highlights including grand palaces and the Seoul City Wall.  

Day 3  Seoul          
Visit the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), the border between North and South Korea which is steeped in history and intrigue. Return back to Seoul where you will be dropped at City Hall.  

Day 4  Seoul to Gyeongju      
This morning travel by high speed train to Gyeongju. Explore Gyeongju with a private guide. Often referred to as the ‘museum without walls’, the city and surrounding area is a treasure trove of palaces, temples and tombs.  

Day 5  Gyeongju                  
This morning ride along the Hyeongsan River and visit Yangdong Folk Village admiring the traditional style houses called 'hanok'. This afternoon, hike to the top of Namsan Mountain. The trail will take you to temples, pagodas and Buddha statues where you can admire the cultural relics and enjoy the scenic views.  

Day 6  Gyeongju to Busan                
This morning, travel to Busan and spend a full day exploring Busan. Your tour will show you the different sides of Busan including the picturesque Haedong Yonggungsa Seaside Temple, the busy Jagalchi Fish Market and colourful Gamcheon Cultural Village. The day concludes with a scenic cable car ride over the ocean.  

Day 7  Busan to Seoul          
This morning enjoy a shared cooking class and learn more about local specialties. Once ready enjoy your freshly prepared dish for lunch. Later on take a high speed train back to Seoul.

Day 8  Seoul                
Transfer to the airport.
