Classic Greek Island Hopping

Day 1  Crete
Fly to Crete and upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon relaxing beside the Aegean Sea and perhaps take a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pool.

Day 2  Crete  
With so much fascinating history and so many beautiful sights, enjoy exploring the island further over the next couple of days. Explore Crete’s old capital Chania, one of Europe’s oldest settlements and admire the iconic centrepiece of the Old Venetian Harbour. Opt to venture further afield and discover the scenic beauty of Balos Lagoon, one of the most photographed areas of Crete.

Day 3  Crete  
Today, discover the east side of the island. Opt to take a boat over to Spinalonga to explore the fortress and enjoy the panoramic views from the top. Immerse yourself further in the local mythology and stop by the Minoan Knossos Palace or admire some exquisite artwork by El Greco at one of the historic museums.

Day 4  Crete to Santorini
After breakfast, transfer to the port and board your ferry as you continue your Greek island hopping adventure. Sail across the Aegean Sea to Santorini and transfer to your hotel in time for a traditional lunch. Spend the afternoon marvelling at the spectacular caldera (vast crater) and relaxing in the serene atmosphere.

Day 5  Santorini
Boasting luxurious boutique hotels with incredible vistas, a day can easily be spent watching the world go by. If you want to explore, the main village Oia offers a maze of local markets, quaint restaurants and laidback bars.

Day 6  Santorini
Today, opt to head off the beaten track to visit Perissa Beach with its distinctive black sand, a truly unique experience. Alternatively, choose to hike the scenic caldera-side trail for breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape and the Aegean Sea, possibly taking a dip in the therapeutic hot springs. In the evening, choose to enjoy a delicious dinner on board a catamaran and watch the magical colours adorn the skies as the sun sets below the horizon.

Day 7  Santorini to Mykonos      
Today, take a scenic ferry transfer to the glamorous island of Mykonos. After transferring to your hotel, kick back and relax on the sandy shores.

Day 8  Mykonos  
After an exciting week, take some time out in the sunshine and relax at one of the island’s beautiful beaches before enjoying a refreshing drink at the many beach bars. Meander the narrow streets of Mykonos’ old town amongst quaint shops and stroll down to Little Venice, situated on the waterfront to admire the colourful houses that look as though they are hanging over the sea.

Day 9  Mykonos
After a leisurely breakfast, perhaps venture to hidden coves, relax on a glorious beach or hike fantastic trails. Alternatively, enjoy the tranquillity of your hotel and make the most of the facilities on offer.

Day 10  Fly home
