Kefalonia Villa Retreat

Day 1  Kefalonia  
Fly to Kefalonia and pick up your car before heading to your Solmar Villa, which will be your home for the next week. Drive through a landscape sculpted by limestone cliffs and undulating lush green hills superimposed on the backdrop of Mount Ainos, which commands spectacular views over the rest of the island. Arrive at your villa and spend the rest of the day enjoying your comfortable and tranquil home.

Days 2-4  Kefalonia  
Enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the dazzling scenery of Kefalonia. Take a dip in your own private pool before working up an appetite for lunch. You can either cook for yourself or request the services of a private chef for an additional cost, whether for a special one-off occasion or for the duration of your stay. Villas offer the perfect option for families or groups as each one brings its own character and features to make your stay perfect. Choose somewhere within walking distance of a hidden cove or a local town, or opt for a more secluded location in the mountains to be immersed in nature. Accommodation ranges from contemporary to traditional in style and with different facilities to suit your needs. You can cook pizzas with the family in your wood-fired oven, relax on your balcony while the kids enjoy their games room, or gather for a board game to spend some quality time together.

Days 5-7  Kefalonia  
When you are not relaxing in your villa, explore the gorgeous surroundings of Kefalonia. Venture to the striking white cliffs and azure sea of Myrtos beach or enjoy a boat trip to Melissani Cave and gaze in wonder at the vivid blue waters illuminated below you. If you are after a glimpse into local life, then the pastel coloured, quaint villages of Fiskardo and Assos are a must see. Fiskardo is an upscale port town boasting original Venetian style houses and a vibrant waterfront of high-end restaurants and tavernas. Assos brings a fairytalelike charm to the horseshoe bay it’s nestled within, providing an idyllic setting of flower-lined streets, turquoise waters and lush foliage overlooked by the remnants of an ancient fortress.

Day 8  Fly home  
Drop your car off in time for your flight home.
