Capri, Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast

Day 1  Naples to Capri    
Fly into Naples, meet your driver and board the ferry for the short journey to the stunning island of Capri. On arrival, a private transfer will whisk you off to your tranquil hotel.    

Days 2-3  Capri  
Spend the next couple of days exploring Capri. Perhaps join a boat tour to the famous sea cave of the Blue Grotto, visit the famous Faraglioni rock formations, or take the chairlift up to Capri’s highest peak, Monte Solaro. Alternatively, take a hike to the Arco Naturale, an imposing natural limestone arch that offers rewarding vistas across the azure waters.    

Day 4  Capri to Sorrento    
Leaving Capri behind, hop on the ferry and cruise across the Gulf of Naples to Sorrento, where a private transfer will meet you on arrival and drive you to your hotel. This evening, head to the promenade for unforgettable sunset views across the bay, with Mount Vesuvius’ imposing silhouette in the distance.    

Day 5  Sorrento    
A short drive away lie the ruins of Pompeii. Today why not choose to join a local tour to explore the fascinating archaeological site of this once thriving Roman city, almost perfectly preserved since it was buried by a violent eruption of nearby Mount Vesuvius.    

Day 6  Sorrento    
Soak up the relaxed vibe of Sorrento. Stroll through lemon tree-lined streets, pay a visit to the manicured gardens of Villa Comunale Park, or perhaps while away the hours in a lively café at Piazza Tasso.

Day 7  Sorrento to Amalfi Coast    
This morning, meet your private driver for a journey along the unforgettable Amalfi Coast to your next hotel. Savour stunning views as the road hugs the coastline and passes through quaint villages.  

Day 8  Amalfi Coast    
Today you could consider taking to the waters on a local boat tour, stroll through one of the many traditional towns or simply relax by the pool. As the sun sets on your Italian holiday, be sure to enjoy some of the region’s delicious cuisine while taking in the amazing scenery.

Day 9  Transfer to Naples and fly home
