Florence & Tuscan Hilltop Escape

Days 1-3  Florence  
Fly to the wondrous city of Florence and take a private transfer to your hotel. Venture into the city and cap off your first day with authentic Italian pasta. After sipping a traditional espresso, begin the second day with a visit to the symbol of Florence – the iconic Duomo, a striking architectural feat. Skip the queues with your included ticket and ascend the 463 steps for commanding city views. Afterwards, be astounded by the beauty of Italian Renaissance art with a visit to the Uffizi Gallery. Spend the following morning with a visit to the Accademia Gallery, famous for housing Michelangelo’s legendary David statue. In the afternoon, become a master of Italian cooking with a course teaching you the art of Italian pizza and gelato-making.  

Days 4-7  Florence to Fiesole  
Today, leave the hustle and bustle behind as you transfer into the beautiful rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. The picturesque town of Fiesole is home to gorgeous gardens, archaeological ruins and significant artwork and features unrivalled views of Florence. Spend the next few days experiencing the Tuscan lifestyle. Take a dip in the hotel’s refreshing pool, relaxing in the grounds or explore the nearby area. Enjoy some exciting hikes or bicycle excursions with trails that lead almost from the hotel’s doorstep. Tastings at nearby olive oil mills and wine cellars are also available, to further connect you with the essence of Tuscany.  

Day 8  Transfer to Florence and fly home
