Itinerary
Day 1 Florence
Fly to Florence and transfer to your hotel. Considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, it boasts a rich history and its historic centre is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to an array of world-class art museums and galleries, including the Uffizi and Accademia, marvel at the many masterpieces and enjoy discovering its charming streets. Stroll along the Ponte Vecchio, sip a glass of Chianti in a sun-dappled square, or admire Michelangelo’s David.
Day 2 Florence
Today, see the breathtaking Brunelleschi Dome up close and take advantage of your included priority lane access so you spend less time queuing and more time exploring. Absorb the history of this magnificent 13th Century cathedral and ascend the 463 steps to admire the extraordinary views from the highest building in the city. Feel free to explore the rest of Florence at your own pace and perhaps visit the designer shops from where Italy’s fashion industry was born.
Day 3 Florence
Soak up the charming ambience and be sure to sample a selection of delicious Tuscan cuisine. Later, wander the streets to discover hidden spots and enjoy finding a selection of the best ‘aperitivo’ bars to relax as the sun sets over this majestic city.
Day 4 Fly home
Enjoy one last morning in this unique city, before taking a transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
Additional Options: There are a number of different ways to see Tuscany’s beautiful countryside from Florence, whether it is as a day trip to a winery or staying a couple days in Fiesole in the Tuscan Hills.
