Italian Cities & The Italian & French Riviera

Day 1  Venice, Italy  
Fly into Venice. Upon arrival, enjoy your first glimpse of this romantic city and perhaps indulge in some fresh Italian gelato while soaking up the atmosphere.  

Day 2  Venice  
Spend the day exploring this mesmerising city with beautiful views around every corner. Experience the beauty of Venice from the water as you cruise along on your Grand Canal Boat Tour.  

Day 3  Venice to Florence  
Travel on board Italy’s comfortable, highspeed rail network to the beautiful city of Florence. This evening, be sure to walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo and marvel at the panoramic vistas of this stunning city.  

Day 4  Florence  
Today, discover the Il Duomo di Firenze, majestically dominating the skyline. The terracotta dome is easily the city’s most iconic landmark, and your included entry allows you to skip the line.

Day 5  Florence to Rome  
Board your train and watch the rolling hills of the Italian countryside pass by as you head south to Rome.

Day 6  Rome  
Spend the morning exploring the iconic Colosseum on your included tour, giving you further insight into ancient Rome. Continue on to visit Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. For dinner, perhaps head to an authentic restaurant in charming Trastevere.  

Day 7  Cruise Embarkation  
Transfer to Civitavecchia port, board Celebrity Equinox^® and set sail for Naples.

Day 8  Naples  
Framed by Mount Vesuvius along a dramatic skyline, Naples is chock full of historical sites, churches and museums   that make it a fascinating place for you to explore. Known as the region where pizza was first invented, sample a range of tasty treats.  

Day 9  Relaxing at sea  

Days 10-11  La Spezia for Florence/Pisa  
La Spezia lies between Genoa and Pisa, and it is just minutes to the east of Cinque Terre – the five fishing ports that enjoy National Park status. There are fantastic shopping opportunities as well as plenty of trattorias to enjoy local Lingurian cuisine.  

Day 12  Portofino  
Stroll through Portofino, a perfectly poised pastel village taking refuge in its own secluded peninsula. Stop at a charming café to get a bite and watch the yachts bobbing in the harbour. Just down the road awaits Cinque Terre National Park, a seascape of fishing villages carved from the cliffs.  

Day 13  Villefranche for Nice, France  
This jewel of the French Riviera is home to some of the world’s most luxurious properties. Stroll through the iconic Promenade des Anglais or see masterpieces by Matisse, Renoir, Monet and Chagall in one of Nice’s many museums.

Day 14  Marseille for Provence  
Stroll the spirit and charm of France’s oldest city along la Canabière toward the Vieux Port where ships have docked for more than 26 centuries. Explore the large pedestrian square lined with some of Marseille’s trendiest cafés and theatres.  

Day 15  Relaxing at sea  

Day 16  Disembark in Barcelona, Spain and fly home
