Itinerary
Fly into Verona, a beautiful city in Italy’s Veneto region, often described as the city of love, thanks to its association with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Day 2 Verona
After a leisurely start to your day, explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed city, starting off at the impressive Roman amphitheatre, which dates to the 1st Century.
Day 3 Verona to Lake Garda
Arrive into Lake Garda after a scenic train journey through Italy’s lake region. Relax on the shores of the lake and admire the scenery before a relaxing dinner.
Days 4-5 Lake Garda
Today, make the most of the historic charms of the ancient villages surrounding the lake. Perhaps, visit the village of Sirmione, or enchanting Limone sul Garda.
Day 6 Lake Garda to Venice
Enjoy the picturesque train journey to Venice before taking a private water taxi to your hotel.
Day 7 Venice
Take a trip to the most iconic Venice landmarks on your included day tour. Start at the impressive St Mark’s Basilica, followed by the Gothic-styled Doges Palace and a gondola ride along the Grand Canal.
Day 8 Cruise embarkation
Transfer to Fusina port, board the Azamara Quest® and set sail for Koper, Slovenia.
Day 9 Koper, Slovenia
Koper is the gateway to an array of intercontinental adventures. Trek through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Skocjan Caves, which features the largest underground canyon in the world.
Day 10 Zadar, Croatia
Zadar is a truly captivating city, where history-drenched cobblestone streets meet contemporary life, surrounded by blue sea, green olive groves and white stone.
Day 11 Dubrovnik
To visit Dubrovnik is to step back in time to the Middle Ages, as the town is one massive museum of fountains, palaces and churches.
Day 12 Kotor, Montenegro
One of Europe’s best-preserved cities of medieval architecture, Kotor’s walls were constructed right into the slopes of the mountain behind it, making it an amazing sight as you approach from the sea.
Day 13 Relaxing at sea
Day 14 Catania for Sicily, Italy
Sicily’s highest point is the tip of the infamous and still active Mt. Etna, and as a result Catania is richly layered, having been buried under lava seven times in recorded history.
Day 15 Amalfi
Wedged into the mouth of a ravine, encircled by sheer cliffs, facing blue waters and where terraced hillsides support lemon groves, Amalfi is a picture perfect destination.
Day 16 Sorrento
Explore Sorrento as you stroll through the picturesque streets and enjoy unforgettable views across the Gulf of Naples.
Day 17 Bastia, Corsica, France
Bastia is home to lively markets, restaurants and cafés, Baroque architecture and breathtaking landscapes.
Day 18 Disembark in Nice, France and fly home
