Pompeii Sorrento & the Bay of Naples

Day 1  Naples    
Fly to Naples and transfer to your hotel in central Pompeii.    

Day 2  Pompeii    
Few places have captured the imagination quite like Pompeii and today you will discover this remarkable archaeological site. Begin with a walking tour of the modern city, visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, before attention turns to the remarkable archaeological site. Head out on a guided tour to imagine what life was like before Vesuvius erupted. This evening, perhaps explore the numerous pizzerias and restaurants located within walking distance of our hotel and savour some local cuisine.    

Days 3-6  Amalfi Coast    
The next few days are at leisure to further explore at your own pace. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the beautiful island of Capri or head out on a scenic coastal drive to the beautiful towns of Amalfi and Ravello. Be sure to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the facilities at your hotel, which include a lovely rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Mount Vesuvius.  

Day 7  Sorrento    
Spend the final day of our holiday in the seaside resort of Sorrento, which boasts stunning scenery as well as elegant restaurants, cafés and a variety of shops. Take in the bustle of the main square, stroll through narrow lanes and later visit a family-owned Limoncello farm to learn and taste this popular Italian drink. This evening, enjoy a farewell get-together and dinner in a local restaurant.    

Day 8  Transfer to Naples and fly home
