Rome Foodie: Pizza, Cheese & Gelato

Day 1  Arrive in Rome      
Upon arrival into Rome transfer to your hotel where your afternoon is at leisure. Why not stroll down the cities captivating streets where welcoming cafes serving fresh coffee and gelato are of an abundance.      

Day 2  Farmers Markets, Pantheon & the Trevi Fountain            
Today, get to know the city better with the help of your local guide on your included walking foodie tour. Visit local eateries sampling truffle, cheeses, salami, pizza and wine whilst being guided around this historical city. Admire the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain whilst immersing yourself in the Italian cuisine. This evening, find a local tavern and enjoy some traditional food and wine whilst reminiscing on your day.            

Day 3  Rome’s Hidden Treasures            
This morning, why not cross over the border and visit Vatican City. Home to the towering St Peter’s Basilica and the centre point for the Roman Catholic Church, discover this magnificent, tiny country. This evening, enjoy a small group food tour in Rome’s restaurant filled Trastevere District. Get to know the interesting area and the delicious delicacies that it is famous for. Sample an array of Italian dishes, from cheeses to pizza to pasta to delicious dessert and wine.

Day 4  Depart Rome            
Enjoy you final morning with a delightful Italian coffee before picking up some souvenirs and transferring back to the airport for your flight home.
