Tuscany's City, Scenery and Coast

Days 1-3  Florence  
Fly to the magnificent city of Florence, and transfer to your hotel. Begin your second day with an incredible Florence walking tour. Explore the best of the city, including the Accademia Gallery, famous for displaying Michelangelo’s ‘David’. Your guide will also take you to see the city’s architectural masterpieces including the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy Italy’s famous food scene and delight in spectacular cuisine on an included evening food tour. On day three, visit the most recognisable landmark of Florence, Brunelleschi’s iconic Duomo, where you will enjoy skip the line access and guided commentary from an expert. Later in the day, prepare some classic Italian dishes learning from a local maestro.  

Days 4-6  Florence to Rural Tuscany  
Pick up your rental car from central Florence. Your next few days will be spent in the Tuscan countryside, known for its rolling hills, cypress tree-lined routes, beautiful vineyards and ancient wineries.

Days 7-9  Rural Tuscany to Siena  
Begin the day with a scenic drive along country roads, into the medieval city of Siena. After settling into your hotel, venture out to the centrepiece of Siena. Start your day with a guided, skip the line tour of Siena’s Duomo. Take your time roaming the historic streets, stopping at quaint shops or visit one of the excellent city museums.  

Days 10-13  Siena to Follonica    
Make the pleasant drive to the gorgeous Follonica, where you will be based for the next few days for your blissful beach escape. Unwind by the beach, swim in crystal clear waters, and enjoy cocktails beside the pool.  

Day 14  Follonica to Pisa    
Set off today for Pisa, taking in the spectacular Tuscan scenery on your drive. Check into your hotel and treat yourself to a tasty Italian panini from one of the nearby cafés. Enjoy a guided tour of the impressive Square of Miracles trio – the Leaning Tower of Pisa (with skip the line access), the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Baptistry, dotted around a marvellous green lawn.  

Day 15  Fly home    
Enjoy a final Italian coffee, before dropping your car at the airport and fly home.
