Venice to Paris by Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Days 1-3  Venice, Italy  
Fly to Venice and enjoy three days exploring this wondrous city. Walk the Grand Canal and marvel at the splendour of the monumental buildings from Byzantine, Gothic and Renaissance periods. No visit to Venice would be complete without a cruise through its enchanting canals. The following day enjoy a private Grand Canal boat tour to explore the maze of waterways. Spend your final full day soaking in the bridges, piazzas, and basilicas of the city.    

Day 4  Venice Simplon-Orient-Express  
Board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Venice Santa Lucia train station and savour a lavish three course lunch in one of the hand-restored 1920s restaurant cars. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the comfort of your cabin, gazing at the beautiful scenery that passes by. A selection of pastries will be served to your quarters before a leisurely four course dinner, prepared on board by famed French chefs and served in the restaurant car. Later, enjoy cocktails in the Bar Car, listening to the resident pianist play your requests on the baby grand piano.  

Day 5  Paris, France  
This morning, awake to a whole new landscape and enjoy a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee, warm breads and pastries, served to you in your cabin at a time that suits you. Disembark in Paris and spend the rest of the day in the French capital at your leisure. See iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. Perhaps stroll along the iconic Champs Élysées, known for its luxury shopping, chic cafés and the famous Arc de Triomphe.  

Day 6  Fly home
