Malta's Undiscovered Ruins & Sandy Shores

Day 1  Fly to Malta  
Arrive in this Mediterranean island country and transfer from the airport to St Julian’s, an urban seaside town just north of Malta’s ancient capital Valetta. Boasting charming shops and plenty of restaurants and bars, this is a great base for discovering the many wonders of the island.  

Days 2-3  Malta  
Enjoy a week at leisure exploring the island. Head to a number of the surrounding beaches to relax in the Mediterranean sun. The popular St George’s Bay pebble beach is on the doorstep, or discover Spinola Bay, scattered with colourful fishing boats and seaside restaurants.  

Days 4-5  Malta  
Perhaps uncover the islands wealth of history, prehistoric sites and fascinating museums. St John’s Co-Cathedral dates to the 16th Century and is adorned with artistic masterpieces and an intricate Baroque interior. Explore further to find the Hypogeum, a labyrinth of underground chambers, megalithic monuments and the remains of Roman villas.  

Days 6-7  Malta  
If you are feeling more active, take to the waters to discover the island’s stunning diving spots. Comino’s Blue Lagoon, a tranquil cove to the west of the island is the ideal place to take a dip and try out your snorkel.  

Day 8  Transfer to Malta airport and fly home
