Montenegro's Mountains, Forests & Adriatic Coast

Day 1  Podgorica        
Fly in Tivat and pick up your car before driving to Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica.  

Day 2  Podgorica      
Podgorica is a laidback melting pot of cultures. Discover the old neighbourhood of Stara Varos and the fortress ruins perched above the Ribnica River.

Day 3  Podgorica to Kolasin      
Today, drive to Biogradska Gora National Park and take a hike, stopping off beside the peaceful glacial lake, before arriving into Kolasin.      

Day 4  Kolasin to Zabljak      
Continue to the scenic town of Zabljak, your base in Durmitor National Park for the next two nights.

Days 5-6  Zabljak      
Spend your time exploring the natural wonders of this dramatic UNESCO World Heritage national park. Visit Tara Canyon and observe the scale and magnitude of the gorge from the bridge.  

Day 7  Zabljak to Kotor      
This morning, rise early and make the journey to the breathtaking Kotor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features traditional red-roofed houses, cobblestone alleys and an elegant Venetian bell tower.  

Days 8-9  Kotor  
Enjoy the next couple of days exploring Kotor as you head out on an included tour to learn about Montenegro’s fascinating history, culture and to take in its incredible scenery. The following day, perhaps relax at your hotel or opt to head back out to Kotor’s enchanting old town.  

Day 10  Fly home      
Drive to Tivat airport and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
