Days 1-2  London to Amsterdam      
Begin your journey at London St. Pancras and depart for Amsterdam on the Eurostar. Arrive in under four hours from the English capital to the beating heart of the Netherlands. Explore the charming city with its tilting buildings and winding streets, providing the perfect back drop to cosy boutique cafés and classic museums. Meander down the city’s famed canals taking in the magnificent 17th Century architecture or ride a bike through atmospheric narrow lanes before sampling some local beer.            

Day 3  Amsterdam to Venice on Venice Simplon-Orient-Express          
Step aboard and allow yourself to be whisked away to a world of timeless indulgence and settle into your suite as your steward caters to your every need. Mingle with your fellow travellers in the Bar Car or admire the vistas of Europe from your cabin. Then dress to impress and head to one of the opulent 1920's restaurant cars for an unforgettable four course dinner.            

Day 4  Venice Simplon-Orient-Express            
Awake to the magnificent mountains and countryside of France, as breakfast is served to your suite. Spend the morning relaxing over petit fours or in the Bar Car, before a leisurely three-course lunch. Then while away the afternoon admiring the Venetian Lagoon with aperitifs in hand. All too soon it will be time to disembark as you arrive into Santa Lucia station.

Days 5-6  Venice    
Transport back to a time when 9th Century legends roamed the city as you take in the outstanding St Mark’s Basilica, walk through the colourful neighbourhoods and marvel at the wonder of Doge’s Palace. Why not take a stroll over the famous Rialto Bridge before a scenic gondola ride down the Grand Canal – no trip to Venice is complete without it!
