Bergen: Cobbled Streets & Majestic Fjords

Day 1  Arrive in Bergen      
Arrive into Bergen, surrounded by mountains and make your own way to your hotel. Take a wander through the cobbled streets and past the painted houses of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen Wharf; the original buildings were destroyed by fire but have been carefully reconstructed and filled with charming shops and restaurants.      

Day 2  Bergen & Mount Floyen      
Spend the morning uncovering Bergen’s rich history and getting fully acquainted with this charming area. In the afternoon, opt to take the Floibanen Furnicular from the city centre to the top of Mount Floyen. You’ll get some spectacular views of the city, mountains and sea before exploring one of the numerous scenic walking trails. Amble through the dense forest, around pristine lakes and across rugged countryside.  
 
Day 3  Fjord Sightseeing      
Today join your exciting cruise tour heading into Norway’s most impressive scenery, the Norwegian Fjords. Cruise through the magnificent scenery of Osterfjord, gliding down the Mostraumen straight. Admire the towering cliff faces and thundering waterfall and pristine Nordic forest. On your return, treat yourself to a Norwegian cinnamon roll, the city’s local specialty.  

Day 4  Depart Bergen      
Enjoy a final morning beside the wharf, maybe paying a visit to the fish market for a delicious local delicacy before transferring back to the airport in time for your onward flight.
