Family Fun in the Algarve Sun

Day 1  Albufeira
Fly to Faro. On arrival, collect your car and take the short drive to Albufeira, your base from which to explore the stunning Algarve. This afternoon, unpack and unwind in your private garden or relax beside the pool in the sunshine.

Days 2-3  Albufeira
Now that you are in the holiday spirit, the week is yours to explore as you wish or simply unwind in your villa. Enjoy the surrounding area, perhaps venture out to explore one of the arrays of magnificent beaches which line the Algarve coast. Famed for rugged beauty and dramatic cliffs, find the perfect spot for beach games and laidback lunches. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen, your villa is set up for self catering, however, why not stroll to a traditional restaurant one evening to enjoy acclaimed Portuguese cuisine?

Day 4  Lagos
Today, head to the charming city of Lagos and spend the day wandering the town’s cobbled streets and traditional cafés. If you are feeling adventurous, head to the beach for a spot of surfing!

Day 5  Carvoeiro
Why not drive to the traditional town of Carvoerio, built into steep red cliffs lining the shore? Whilst here, take a boat trip to Benagil Cave, an immense natural beauty spot off the Carvoerio coast, or keep the kids entertained at the nearby waterpark.

Day 6  Ria Formosa Natural Park
Although the Algarve is famed for its beautiful beaches, consider spending the day exploring the diverse wetlands of Ria Formosa Natural Park. Make sure to explore the labyrinth of canals and diverse ecosystem by kayak, spotting migratory birds along the way, before enjoying a traditional lunch in one of the many little villages in the area.

Day 7  Albufeira
Spend one final day lounging by your pool soaking up the Algarve sunshine. Perhaps head into Albufeira town and join a dolphin watching cruise.

Day 8  Fly home
Enjoy a quick morning dip before it is home time! Drive back to Faro and drop your car off at the airport before boarding your flight home.
