Bratislava City Break

Day 1  Bratislava      
Arrive into Slovakia’s charming capital city, Bratislava. Stroll the quaint, cobblestoned streets of the old town, exploring the cafés around the main square, passing beneath the iconic Michael’s Gate and spotting the cheery Čumil statue of a worker peering up from the pavement. Wander to the Gothic Saint Martin’s Cathedral and the Blue Church, known for its striking pastel colour.      

Day 2  Bratislava      
Today perhaps wander up the hill to visit Bratislava Castle. This baroque fortress offers great views across the city and Danube River, immaculately manicured gardens and an interesting museum to learn about Slovakia’s past. For a more rustic castle experience, venture just outside the city to see the ruinous Devin Castle, an important archaeological site with centuries of history.      

Day 3  Bratislava      
With the city’s fantastic riverside setting, consider heading out onto the water on a scenic Danube river cruise. See the futuristic UFO Bridge that defines the skyline. Why not head up to the observation deck for sunset and enjoy panoramic views of the city whilst sipping a cocktail?

Day 4  Bratislava      
After exploring the highlights of the Bratislava, depart the city today.
