Ljubljana: Red Roofs & Luscious Green Spaces

Day 1  Ljubljana
Arrive in Ljubljana and transfer to your hotel. Unpack and head out to discover the city’s pretty bridges, and buildings awash with coloured facades. Tonight, why not experience the vibrant outdoor dining scene?              

Day 2  Ljubljana
Today, perhaps wander over the creatively designed Triple Bridge, with three different level walkways, to reach Presernov Trg, a marvellous square boasting elegant architecture in the heart of Ljubljana. This afternoon visit the magnificent Ljubljana Castle, dating back to the 16th Century it can be reached by a 70 meter funicular that leaves from the Old Town. Here, admire the stunning views across the river and in to the city centre.              

Day 3  Ljubljana
This morning, why not hire a bicycle and head to Tivoli Park, the largest in the city. Explore the landscaped gardens awash with colour, before meandering back to the city centre to browse the shops. With an emphasis on sustainability, this eco-friendly destination offers free electrically powered transport with bikes and Kavalirs (similar to large golf buggies), to transport you around the Old Town.              

Day 4  Ljubljana
This morning pay a visit to the National Museum and see the collection of Roman jewellery and ancient Slavic graves before your time in Ljubljana comes to an end. Transfer back to the airport, for your onward journey home.
