Classical Spain: Seville, Cordoba & Granada

Day 1  Mijas    
Fly to Málaga and transfer to your hotel in the small village of Mijas, to meet your fellow travellers.    

Day 2  Mijas to Seville    
Travel inland through Andalucía’s gorgeous rolling hills to the hilltop town of Ronda. The town is split in two by El Tajo Gorge and there are spectacular views from the 18th Century stone bridge that links Ronda together. Afterwards, travel through the spartan landscape towards Seville, your base for the next three nights. Enjoy some traditional Spanish tapas this evening.    

Day 3  Seville    
Discover the atmospheric heart of this amazing city on a morning tour. You’ll see the mesmerising semi-circular Plaza de España and the Tower of Gold. In the afternoon, take time to explore the city at your own pace. Choose to take a relaxing boat cruise on the River Guadalquivir which threads its way through the middle of the city.

Day 4  Seville    
Today is at leisure to further explore Seville. Why not wander around the medieval Jewish quarter of Barrio Santa Cruz and the modern pedestrianised Calle Sierpes. Alternatively, relax and watch the world go by at Maria Luisa Park, an oasis of calm close in amongst the city.    

Day 5  Seville to Granada    
Depart Seville and head east to Córdoba, the ancient capital of the Moors. Visit the elegant mosque, The Mezquita situated in the heart of the old town. Afterwards, continue to Granada, another relic of the Moorish world, flanked by the imposing Sierra Nevada mountain range. Later, arrive at your hotel for the next two nights.

Day 6  Granada    
Begin the day with a guided tour of La Alhambra, one of the most extraordinary sights in all of Spain. Backed by towering mountains, the setting is beautiful and lends an air of peace over the entire complex. Later, take time to explore the tiny, winding streets of the city and perhaps pop into a tapas bar to try some local delicacies.    

Day 7  Transfer to Málaga and fly home
