Famed and Fun-Loving Alicante

Day 1 Arrive in Alicante      
Arrive in Alicante and transfer to your central and modern hotel. This evening take a stroll along the glittering water’s edge of the marina and along La Explanada de Espana, Alicante’s pretty palm-lined promenade. At the other end uncover the old-world charm of El Barrio Old Town with its narrow streets, historic buildings and authentic local tapas and cocktail bars.      

Day 2 Alicante    
This morning, take the lift or brave the climb up Benacantil Mountain to visit the magnificent Santa Barbara Castle and witness spectacular panoramic views. On the way back down enjoy a pleasant stroll through Parque de la Ereta, which will bring you to Postiguet beach, one of Alicante’s loveliest beaches. Spend the afternoon here soaking up the sun and cooling off in one of the many cosy beach bars.      

Day 3 Tabarca    
Just off the coast lies the beautifully untouched island of Tabarca. Today pack a picnic and take a boat across the gorgeous waters to explore the picturesque white-washed town and enjoy the fantastic snorkelling and diving opportunities this protected marine reserve has to offer.      

Day 4 Depart Alicante    
Enjoy your final morning in Alicante before transferring back to the airport for your flight home.
