Itinerary
Fly to Zurich and on arrival, head to your chic hotel, 5★ Park Hyatt Zurich. Why not explore the picturesque old town before enjoying an evening of delicious local cuisine in one of Zurich’s excellent restaurants.
Day 2 Zurich
Make the most of your Swiss Travel Pass by taking a cruise across Zurich’s shimmering lake. Relax on board as you enjoy panoramic views of the alpine peaks and verdant landscapes beyond. Later, discover the artistic masterpieces on display in the renowned Kunsthaus Zurich, delve into Switzerland’s intriguing history at the Swiss National Museum, or indulge in a visit to the Lindt Home of Chocolate.
Day 3 Zurich to Zermatt
Bid farewell to Zurich and travel by rail to the enchanting resort of Zermatt, nestled at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn. Settle into your hotel, Mont Cervin Palace, before heading out to explore Zermatt’s bustling streets and pretty chalets this afternoon.
Day 4 Zermatt
Hop aboard the Gornergrat Railway and marvel at the breathtaking landscapes from the iconic cogwheel train as they pass by, enjoy glorious views of the Matterhorn.
Day 5 Zermatt
Spend today exploring more of Zermatt and its beautiful surroundings. Why not follow one of the many scenic hiking trails if you’re feeling energetic, or perhaps simply spend some time ambling along Zermatt’s main street, which is brimming with little boutiques, sweet-smelling bakeries and buzzing restaurants.
Day 6 Zermatt to St Moritz
Today, travel in ultimate style and luxury to St Moritz via the iconic Glacier Express. Settle into your Excellence Class carriage and admire the awe-inspiring vistas through the domed, panoramic windows as you indulge in a five course lunch with wine. Once you’ve arrived, check into your hotel.
Days 7-8 St Moritz
Spend the next two days exploring this glamorous mountain town. Wander St Moritz’s boutique-lined streets, visit its 12th Century leaning tower, or enjoy a peaceful cruise across the town’s beautiful lake. Take in the stunning views and fresh mountain air from the nearby hiking trails or perhaps ride the funicular railway to the Muottas Muragl viewpoint for unparalleled vistas across the Engadin Valley.
Day 9 Fly home
Catch your train to Zurich to meet your onward flight.
