A Week in Bhutan with Six Senses

Day 1  Paro to Thimphu        
Upon arrival meet your Six Senses guide and transfer to the beautiful 5★ Six Senses Thimphu.        

Day 2  Thimphu        
Today discover some of Thimphu’s highlights on a tour around the valley, including a fortress, local artisan shops and the Simply Bhutan museum, which provides a fascinating insight into the Bhutanese way of life.        

Day 3  Thimphu to Punakha        
Journey to the lush Punakha Valley over the scenic Dochula Pass and settle into the 5★ Six Senses Punakha.  

Day 4  Punakha        
This morning you can opt to have breakfast at a nearby monastery with novice monks and learn about their daily lives (donation payable locally). After lunch, cross the country’s longest suspension bridge to reach the impressive Punakha Dzong.        

Day 5  Punakha to Paro        
Journey back to Paro, stopping at the three stupas at Chuzon Bridge and the mighty Rinpung Dzong en route. Check into the 5★ Six Senses Paro and spend the afternoon taking in the stunning views of the valley.  

Day 6  Paro        
This morning hike up to the sacred Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery. The trek takes around 3-5 hours. In the evening make a choice from a selection of local experiences.    

Day 7  Paro        
Bid farewell to your guide this morning and transfer to the airport for your onward travels.
