Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi to Dharamsala
Take a morning flight from Delhi to Dharamsala. Later enjoy an afternoon city tour including a
visit to the Tsuglagkhang complex, home to the Dalai Lama, the interesting Tibet Museum and the Tibetan Parliament.
Day 2 Dharamsala
Today enjoy a half day tour into the countryside surrounding Dharamsala. Visit the Norbulingka Institute, which seeks to preserve traditional Tibetan art forms. Continue to a tea garden and stop at a peaceful village. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 3 Dharamsala to Amritsar
Drive to Amritsar.
Day 4 Amritsar to Delhi
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Amritsar’s numerous shrines and temples including a visit to the renowned Golden Temple, the holiest of Sikh shrines. This stunning temple is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in northern India. Take a late afternoon train back to Delhi for your onward arrangements.
