Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Delhi
Days 2-3 Delhi
Welcome to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The next day, discover the sights and sounds of India’s vibrant capital with a half day tour. Take in the highlights of the city’s incredible Mughal architecture as well as the exotic atmosphere and bustling bazaars of Old Delhi.
Day 4 Delhi to Agra
Head south by road to Agra and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. Dating back to 1648, today this is one of the world's most recognisable landmarks. Marvel at the shimmering white marble-clad domes as you enjoy a guided tour before continuing to the impressive Agra Fort nearby.
Day 5 Agra to Jaipur
Rise early for another visit to the Taj Mahal, this time at sunrise, before departing for Jaipur. On the way, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted palace complex, famous for its Indo-Islamic architecture.
Day 6 Jaipur
Start your day with a drive up to the beautiful Amber Fort with its commanding hilltop setting just outside the city. Return to Jaipur for an afternoon tour of its many historic sites, including the Jantar Mantar observatory and City Palace. Stop for a photo outside the famous façade of the Palace of the Winds and end the day wandering through some of the market streets to get an insight into local life.
Day 7 Jaipur to Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, return to Delhi, where the rest of the day is free to relax or enjoy the city’s shops, bars and restaurants.
Day 8 Fly home
