Day 4 Shimla
A half day walking tour provides a fascinating insight into Shimla’s rich colonial heritage as the former summer capital of the British Raj. The walk takes in some of the best examples of British architecture in India including the beautiful Christ Church, the splendidly restored Gaiety Theatre – where Rudyard Kipling once trod the boards and the magnificent Viceregal Lodge on the summit of Observatory Hill.
